Believe it or not, Westies can do extremely well in Obedience. Ginette Lemieux (Leman Kennels) from Quebec has a Westie (Clodie) that has scored a perfect score (200) not once but at least twice! Clodie and her offspring have numerous titles both here in Canada and in the US.
While not everyone will have the opportunity to train to this high level of expertise, basic obedience can be done by any Westie. Training and practice will increase the bond you have with your Westie by giving you Special time together to work on obedience exercises and make him/her a well behaved Westie, welcome to go with you everywhere.
